To maintain the public nature and safety of the facility, guests using TenangTenang – Izu Oceanic Villa (hereinafter referred to as “the Facility”) are requested to comply with this agreement and follow the instructions provided by the Facility staff based on the following rules. The Facility shall not be held liable for any damage caused to guests who fail to observe these rules. Furthermore, if the Facility suffers damage due to a guest’s non-compliance, the guest will be required to compensate for such damage.
About the Use of the Facility
- Do not distribute or post advertisements or sell goods within the Facility premises without permission.
- Propaganda activities such as distributing flyers or conducting signature campaigns are prohibited within the Facility premises.
- Minors staying alone may be refused unless they have permission from a guardian.
- Do not use the Facility while in a state of extreme intoxication.
- Do not perform early check-in or late check-out without prior notice.
Note: If you have not vacated the room 30 minutes after the check-out time, an extension fee of 10,000 JPY will be charged. - Do not use any firearms or items that may cause a fire inside the Facility.
- Smoking (including electronic cigarettes) is strictly prohibited inside the building, on the terrace, and on the road in front of the Facility. If smoking or evidence of cigarette butts is confirmed, cleaning costs and damages will be charged.
- If complaints are received from neighbors, you will be required to vacate the premises.
- As the Facility is located in a general residential area, please refrain from loud singing, boisterous behavior, or any actions that cause discomfort or nuisance to neighbors.
Note: Use of the terrace is permitted until 9:00 PM (Quiet hours: 9:00 PM to 8:00 AM). - Do not bring the following items into the Facility:
- Animals (except for dogs staying in dog-friendly facilities) and birds.
- Items that emit a significant foul odor.
- Significantly large quantities of goods.
- Items that ignite or catch fire easily (gunpowder, volatile oils, fireworks, bonfires, candles, charcoal BBQ grills, etc.).
- Guns, swords, marijuana, narcotics, stimulants, or other illegal drugs not legally permitted for possession.
Preservation of Buildings and Equipment
- Do not move, modify, or take out any equipment or items within the Facility, and do not use them for purposes other than intended.
- Please keep the toilets clean. Do not flush foreign objects such as gum, cigarettes, or sanitary products.
Note: If a toilet blockage occurs, a separate fee will be charged. - If buildings, equipment, fixtures, or plants are lost, damaged, soiled, or acquire an odor, you may be required to compensate for the damage.
- In the event of severe soiling or damage exceeding the scope of normal cleaning—such as vomiting in the room, drain blockage due to hair cutting, smoking (including e-cigarettes), or damage to fixtures—a flat fee of 100,000 JPY will be charged in addition to the actual repair costs, special cleaning fees, and compensation for the period the room cannot be sold.
In the unlikely event of soiling or damage, please be sure to report it before check-out.

Disaster Prevention, Crime Prevention, and Safety
- If the Facility suffers damage due to fire, breakage, or smoking caused by use in violation of prohibited items, compensation for damages will be required.
- If you feel unwell or develop symptoms such as fever or cough during your stay, please notify us by email or phone.
- If you see suspicious persons or objects, please contact the following:

- If any act of violence, threat, extortion, coercion, or obstruction of business is recognized by a guest or their associates, all future use will be refused.
- If acts violating laws and regulations are committed or are deemed likely to be committed by a guest or their associates, all future use will be refused.
- For safety management, security controls and security cameras are installed in parts of the Facility.
Personal Belongings and Lost Property
- Found items left in the Facility after check-out will be stored for a certain period and then handled in accordance with the law. Any costs incurred in returning found items to the owner shall be borne by the owner.
- If personal belongings requiring disposal fees (such as oversized waste) are intentionally or negligently left in the room or on the premises, a reasonable fee for disposal and proxy handling will be charged. If no contact is made regarding the item within one week of check-out, it will be treated as intentionally abandoned.
- Any items left in the refrigerator will be disposed of on the same day, regardless of the expiration date. Please be careful not to leave anything behind.
Accommodation Agreement
Article 1 (Scope of Application)
- Accommodation contracts and related agreements concluded between TenangTenang – Izu Oceanic Villa (hereinafter referred to as “the Facility”) and the guest shall be governed by these terms and conditions. Matters not provided for herein shall be governed by laws or generally established customs.
- If the Facility enters into a special agreement within the scope that does not violate laws and customs, that special agreement shall prevail.
Article 2 (Registration of Stay)
- The following information must be provided at the time of application for an accommodation contract:
- Name, address, phone number, gender, nationality, and occupation of the guest(s).
- For foreign nationals: nationality, passport number, point of entry, and date of entry.
- Dates of stay, estimated time of arrival, date of departure, estimated time of departure, and the name and phone number of the applicant.
- Other matters deemed necessary by the Facility.
- If the guest requests to extend their stay beyond the date specified in the preceding paragraph during their stay, the Facility shall treat it as an application for a new accommodation contract at the time the request is made.
Article 3 (Refusal of Conclusion of Accommodation Contract)
The Facility may refuse to conclude an accommodation contract in the following cases:
- When the application for accommodation does not comply with these terms.
- When the Facility is fully booked and no rooms are available.
- When it is recognized that the person seeking accommodation is likely to act in a manner that violates laws, public order, or good morals.
- When dangerous goods (firearms, oils) or items harmful to humans are brought in.
- When the person seeking accommodation is intoxicated and likely to cause a significant nuisance to other users or neighbors.
- When the person seeking accommodation is clearly identified as having an infectious disease.
- When the person seeking accommodation makes violent, threatening, or coercive demands, or requests a burden exceeding a reasonable range; or when accommodation cannot be provided due to natural disasters, facility failure, or other unavoidable reasons.
Article 4 (Formation of Accommodation Contract)
- An accommodation contract is formed when the Facility accepts the application. However, this does not apply if the Facility proves it did not accept the application.
- When a contract is formed, an application fee specified by the Facility (up to the limit of the basic accommodation fee) must be paid by the designated date.
- The application fee shall first be applied to the final accommodation fee. In cases where Article 6 or Article 17 (Guest Liability) applies, it will be applied to the penalty and then to compensation, with any remainder refunded.
- If the application fee is not paid by the date specified, the contract shall lose its effect, provided the guest was informed of the due date.
Article 5 (Cancellation by the Guest)
- The guest may cancel the accommodation contract by notifying the Facility.
- As a penalty rule, if cancelled 7 days before the arrival date or later, 100% of the total accommodation fee will be charged. Cancellation is free if made 8 days or more before the arrival date.
- If the guest does not arrive by 8:00 PM without notice (or 2 hours past the estimated arrival time, up to 8:00 PM), the reservation may be treated as cancelled by the applicant.
- If the stay duration is shortened, a penalty will be charged based on the first day, regardless of the number of days shortened.
- Note:
- Percentages represent the ratio of the penalty to the total accommodation fee.
- No waiver of cancellation fees due to the declaration of a State of Emergency or semi-emergency measures. Waivers are only granted if public transportation to the accommodation is suspended and it is physically impossible to arrive.
- Penalty (Cancellation Fee):
- No-show: 100%
- 7 days to the day of arrival: 100%
- 8 days before: No cancellation fee.
Article 6 (Right to Cancel by the Facility)
The Facility may cancel the accommodation contract in cases such as:
- Violation of laws, public order, or good morals by the guest.
- Non-payment of the application fee by the deadline.
- Significant nuisance caused to other guests/neighbors.
- Identification of an infectious disease.
- Violent or unreasonable demands made to the Facility or its staff.
- Force majeure (natural disasters, etc.).
- Violation of fire prevention rules (e.g., smoking in bed, tampering with fire equipment).
Article 7 (Occupancy Hours)
- The hours guests may use the room are from the check-in time to the check-out time specified in the contract. (Standard: 3:00 PM to 10:00 AM the following morning).
- Additional fees apply for use outside these hours.
- For consecutive stays, rooms can be used all day except on arrival and departure days, though staff may enter for cleaning if necessary.
Article 8 (Compliance with Rules)
Guests must comply with the Facility’s House Rules (Terms of Service).
Article 9 (Payment of Fees)
- The breakdown of fees to be paid by the guest is based on the basic price list.
- Payment must be made by the specified date via bank transfer, credit card, or at the Facility.
- Accommodation fees will be charged even if the guest voluntarily chooses not to stay after the room has been provided.
- For plans including incidental services (e.g., BBQ), fees will be charged even if the guest does not use them.
Article 10 (Liability of the Facility)
- The Facility’s liability begins when the guest registers or enters the Facility (whichever is earlier) and ends when the guest vacates the room to depart.
- The Facility shall compensate for damages caused to the guest due to non-performance of the contract, unless it is not due to the Facility’s fault.
- The Facility is covered by liability insurance for fire and other emergencies.
Article 11 (Parking)
Parking is available from 3:00 PM on the check-in day until 10:00 AM on the check-out day.
Article 12 (Liability of the Guest)
- The guest shall compensate the Facility for any damage caused intentionally or through negligence.
- For malicious cases of damage to furniture or equipment exceeding normal use, a flat fee of 100,000 JPY will be charged in addition to repair costs and lost revenue.
- The Facility assumes no responsibility if a guest causes an accident to a third party or suffers damage themselves by violating the rules in Article 8.
Article 13 (Jurisdiction and Governing Law)
All disputes arising regarding these terms shall be resolved in the Tokyo District Court as the exclusive court of jurisdiction in the first instance, in accordance with Japanese law.
Bicycle Rental Terms of Use
These Terms of Use (hereinafter referred to as “these Terms”) define the conditions for the safe and appropriate use of the bicycles lent at this facility (hereinafter referred to as “the Bicycles”). Before using the Bicycles, please read these Terms carefully and use them only upon agreement.
Article 1 (Eligibility)
- Users must comply with Japanese Road Traffic Laws and strive for safe driving.
- Users must be able to reach the ground with their feet. The use of a helmet is recommended.
- Use by persons under 14 years old is prohibited for safety management.
- Minors must have guardian consent.
- Use is prohibited while under the influence of alcohol, in poor health, or pregnant.
Article 2 (Hours and Fees)
- Use is limited to the duration of the stay.
- Usage hours are from sunrise to sunset. Night use is prohibited.
- The fee is 500 JPY per bicycle (3 electric-assisted bicycles are available).
Article 3 (Rental and Return)

Article 4 (Responsibility)
- Handle the bicycle with care and always use the lock when parking.
- Return the bicycle to the designated parking space after use.
- The use of safety equipment such as helmets is recommended.
Article 5 (Accidents and Damages)
- The Facility assumes no responsibility for accidents, injuries, or damage to third parties.
- In case of accident, theft, or damage, immediately contact the police and the Facility.
- Users may be charged for repair or replacement costs in case of damage or theft.
Article 6 (Prohibited Acts)
- Use for commercial purposes or lending/transferring to third parties.
- Use on uneven roads, rough terrain, or stairs.
- Use during bad weather (rain, strong winds).
- Riding at night without lights.
Article 7 (Disclaimer)
- The Facility is not liable for any damages or losses arising from the use of this service. Use at your own risk.
- The Facility is not responsible for troubles caused by the user’s negligence or violation of rules.
